As the Education Director for the Holocaust Centre of New Zealand, Kris Clancy spends his working hours tackling heavy history, combating prejudice, and trying to explain the flaws of humanity to teenagers—a demographic notoriously more interested in their phones. It is incredibly vital, serious work, which explains why Kris relies heavily on a deeply ingrained sense of existential dread and dry Kiwi humour to survive the week. When he isn’t travelling the country delivering school seminars, he is usually staring blankly at a screen trying to condense complex social psychology into 60-second TikToks that won't make Gen Z collectively cringe.
