Brains, Brachot, and Being Different: A Jewish take on Neurodiversity
Jews have a long history of cherishing unique minds and divergent thinkers; however, in the modern world we know that many of our neurodivergent young people are struggling. In our Jewish communities in Aotearoa, how are we recognising and nurturing our neurodivergent young people (and what the heck is neurodivergence anyway)? Are we creating inclusive spaces and practises and what would those look like? How can we get it right in our communities so that we can be a model and advocate for inclusion and equity in the broader community of Aotearoa?
