What is Progressive Judaism? Not just 'not-Orthodox’
The progressive Jewish communities of New Zealand meet regularly (we call ourselves 'KiwiPJ') and are part of a global movement serving more than 1,250 congregations in more than 50 countries. We have a 150-year history, promote progressive values such as progressive Zionism, pluralism, egalitarianism, and a commitment to peace. We also have a movement in Israel comprising many congregations, schools and kibbutzim. Let's explore together how we can ensure that all Jews have access to a vibrant and personally meaningful Jewish life that can inspire us spiritually and ensure the future of the Jewish people.
