Linda Margolin Royal
AUSTRALIA
Linda Margolin Royal is alive because a brave individual saw wrongdoing and danger; and went against the crowd, risking his life and that of his young family to rescue 6,000 strangers from certain death during the Holocaust - her father
and grandparents included. A copywriter by profession, and now a novelist, she has taken the decision to devote her life to perpetuating his memory in book and film and aims to make Chiune Sugihara a household name like Spielberg did for Schindler. The Star on the Grave, her debut novel, is a bestseller in Australia and heartily endorsed by Thomas Keneally (Schindler’s List). Linda regularly talks the power of one person to think for him/herself to do what is right when faced with a choice, and affect significant change, particularly in these challenging times. She has already written the prequel to The Star on the Grave and has a sequel in the making.
